Ladies and gentlemen, considering what is currently plaguing our country, racism, ignorance and those that desire to be an authoritarian, this simply states, no matter the situation, in the words of Winston Churchill, “never ever give up!” We’ve got this, no matter the obstacles!! #Vote2020.I used to volunteer at the local zoo. We had Asian elephants and I helped take care of them. A few babies were born on my watch, and it was glorious. I admit, the adults scared me a little. They were so huge, powerful and could kill me in an instant. But they didn’t. I would go up to their face, look them in the eye. They were so filled with love and compassion toward me. They could have used their trunk to kill me in an instant. Instead, it was used as a fun gift and sign of affection. The mamas were fine when I washed and cared for their babies. They knew I wasn’t there to do harm.

As a wildlife rehabilitator these elephants were very stressed. First because of the lions, 2nd because of the man/people filming this footage. An elephant will never leave a member behind unless it is dead, especially their young. The reason they were acting this way was NOT because they wanted the mom to leave her baby but because they sensed danger. I hate it when people add human thoughts or feelings into a wild animal. This man has no clue, other than ignorance in animal behavior. Maybe he should learn for future footage in accurate reporting. Just saying.
