What is not being talked about is that this is a very, very stupid strategy by Trump. It’s important to note that people who’ve been granted pardons lose their right to plead the fifth amendment against self-incrimination in any subsequent legal proceedings. That means that people who’ve been engaged with Trump in illegal activity will be required to testify about matters for which they have been Pardoned.
